I should have noticed that these day’s have become more & more unlikely. I should have noticed that my two steps forward were actually taking me two feet under. I should have noticed that your sympathy towards me was wrongly interpreted. _____________________________________________will grin and bear it. I will run, because every one tells me to walk. I'll scream just to prove theres a little life inside of me. I'll fight for whats mine, since you all believe it's just handed over. I'll love even though I'm scared. I'll be erratic and careless, just because I can. Now I guess I proved the world huh. Now tell me what i've proved. Im the same person with thick skin and my fuck the world attitude. I should have know the constant little beatings would lead to my impass. I should have never rhymed those noxious prayers. I should have never devoured myself in those toxic lies. I should have known my vapid smile wouldn’t impress forever. I should have never shown the world my fraught heart. I did, but then again I didn’t. Finally someone has opened the window that cleared the fog. Since then, I must say, the sky has never been so blue nor the air so sweet. Only time will tell, and only if the breathing gets easier, can I say I am healed. Until then no credit is going to be given, because I’m not sure I can say ‘miracles happen’. At least not yet.
