About Me
I'm an anthropologist and PhD student in Information Sciences at the University of North Texas. I live in Texas with my husband and two cats. We spend some of our time spoiling our granddaughter, who was born in May 2005.
I teach science in afterschool programs and summer camps to elementary school students. My favorite parts are the robotics classes and the robots classes. I own 9 toy robots -- and two Roombas as well as several rockets. I volunteer at a museum and prep dinosaur fossils just for fun.
I have joined this community (with permission from the owners) because my PhD research field is in disability and tech access. I'm interested in getting feedback on the things I'm reading about and thinking about -- and in return, I will share my insights with everyone.
