About Me

I am married and have 4 great kids. The oldest is 30 and the youngest 5. Yes I am in my second marriage. I was an interpretive park ranger until I was hurt on the job twice. The first time my park manager tested his new siren on four of us. We were eating lunch. The result bilateral hearing loss. The second time one year later, A releif pipe for a water main erupted out of the ground and hitting me in the face. I was found ten feet away n a pool of blood. Other rangers decided to check up on me when I did not answer the radio. I have tramatic brain injury, memory loss, legally blind, hearing loss and loss of smell/taste. I am lucky to be alive and I do not want to waste a day. I will be attending the University of Texas and getting a masters in Public Affairs.
