About Me
Karen is a deaf mom to three deaf and hard of hearing kids. The hubby is deaf too. Her dog, Kaycie, has ears that can hear a rabbit breathing over a half mile away.
Karen works as a writer for a writing company and provides early intervention services to families with deaf and hard of hearing children. She serves as a board member for Hands & Voices (www.handsandvoices.org) and runs Illinois Hands & Voices in her state.
