There will be a Blue Moon occuring on New Year's Eve. I bet that only happens, well, once in a Blue Moon! It almost makes me want to go out and celebrate this silly holiday, altho I traditionally stay home on National Drunk Driver's Day.
A Blue Moon happens when a month has two full moons. There won't be another Blue Moon until August 2012.
Blue Moon is also a fairly decent beer...Colorado's answer to Belgium...a HoeGaarden knock off.
