I'm new as well and in the same boat as you... as far as in making friends!

  Anyways it's a true blessing that you didn't pass it on to your son. When you are a mother your heart skips a beat if they bump into something . It's hard to be disabled and be a mom. For me  the love I have for my daughter can cure the pain. Even with a simple smile.
