    Top Mobility Scholarship Award  --  1st Place: $500.00

     

    The Top Mobility Scholarship contest is open to High School, College
    and Graduate School Physically Challenged students.
    As the applicant, you will write an essay based on on your own experience:
    How the use of a mobility equipment (Conversion Van, Wheelchair,
    Power chair or scooter) changed your life?

     

    Requirements:

    Scholarship applicant must submit and meet the following criteria:
    • Name
    • Email address
    • Name of the institution that you attend and/or plan on attending
    • If selected as a winner — physical address and short bio.
    • Essay in English language (400-600 words)
    • There are no minimum GPA, SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE,
      or any other test score requirements.
    • Any student that currently attends high school, college,
      or graduate school may apply.
    • Must be a legal resident of the United States
    • Must be a manual or electric wheelchair user

     

    Scholarship Entry Dates:

    • Submissions Begin    1/1/2010
    • Submission Deadline    06/15/2010
    • Announce Winner    07/02/2010

     

    How Does a Student Like You Win?

    The judges score will be based on the following factors:
    • Originality
    • Reflection how the essay relates to something in your life
    • Punctuation/Grammar
    • Content

     

    How to Apply?

    The entire application process can be completed online.
    Submit Your Essay Online
    • Once the winners are chosen, a check will be made to the student
      and sent to an address that the applicant has provided.
    • The essays that are submitted become property of TopMobility.com
      and have a chance of being displayed on the website.
    • The winning essays and short bios of the corresponding authors
      will also be displayed on the website.
