Do you wish you could tell the gaming industry exactly what your preferences are, and have someone important pay attention? This is your chance.
Blue Marble gaming company is involved in the development and marketing of video games made specifically for people with disabilities. Headed by PhDs Sheryl Flynn and Belinda Lange, Blue Marble has clout. The company is on the cutting edge of what promises to be a huge field: gaming to augment cognitive, sensory and motor impairments in people with disabilities.
The company wants to hear from you, no matter what your disability. If you’re a caregiver, a nurse, a therapist or a doctor, Blue Marble wants to hear from you. If you’ve never played a video game in your life, or if you’ve played thousands, it doesn’t matter. And the company wants to get information from kids, too, as long as they have their parents’ approval.
The simple survey takes about 20 minutes to complete, with about 30 multiple-choice questions as well as boxes for further comment. About 200 people have responded so far, but Blue Marble is looking for feedback from an additional 800 people in the disability community.
