I had a simply WONDERFUL time! Yes it is I, the Finetooner, alive and well. I spent about 3 hours at the Expo and found it well-organized, wide-ranging and, informative. I got a chance to introduce myself to Sarah Galbreath one of the organizers and voiced my frustration in not getting my seminar on "Airlines and passengers with disabilities" on the docket. Not being one to burn bridges behind me, I collected a great number of business cards and gave out same. I'm still astounded at the number of people who have no idea about the Air Carrier Access Act. (24 CFR Pt 382) So, I spent a great deal of time enlightening anyone who would listen on that code of federal regulation. I enjoyed a fashion show that featured men and women wearing wheelchair fashions and it was hosted by none other than Kimberly Barreda. Atlanta Disaboomers: let me know if you were able to attend. Personally, I had fun, made great contacts and wished I could have attended all three days!
