hi im andrea. i am going to school for vet tech and they are concern with my commuinication. some of the people at my college and i are trying to think of ways for me to communicate if i need something or to let people something is wrong with an animal. i do not want to make the animal more stress so thats the hard part making sure it would work without stressing the animals. thanks

Good for you in going to vet tech school. I graduated from a vet tech program a long time ago and worked doing farm calls. Taking blood from a pig in a pen is not easy, just in case you were wondering. I think if your speech is not easy to understand perhaps you could carry a notebook to write what you need to articulate. I have shopped in many places where this kind of communication is necessary. Communication is not only expressed thru speech. God Bless you in your pursuits.

 First congrats on the Vet Tech and I wish you well. You have something right in your hand that can help if I notice correct you have an iPhone in your photo. That thing can message people and do all sorts of things to help you get across what you need to say. If anything you can let people simply read what you can type out in your notes if they do not have a phone to message. Technology can solve the speech problems  there are text to speech apps for the iPhone just search their apps for one that you can use.

I use my note and or message function for people that do not understand sign language.
