October is National Disability Awareness Month, and there are many disability health and advocacy awareness campaigns that are underway during this month.

Here are two blogs on DisaboomLive that fall into the category of "increasing our awareness" of what's going on in the disability community.

The AdvocacyCenter in Louisiana posted a copy of a Presidential Proclamation from The White House:
