After 18+ hours of grueling work yesterday, we have accomplished our goal. What was one website is now two websites!
The primary reason for making this change was to make information and features easier to find. The old site had so much information, from articles and videos to the forums and blogs, some people had commented that it was difficult to navigate around.
So the articles, videos, resources, organizations directory, scholarships directory, and products and services vendors are located on the Disaboom Media site at www.disaboom.com. You do not have to register to use this site.
Community now has its own address at www.disaboomlive.com. Registration is required for this site. As a member of the DisaboomLive Community, you can connect and share information with other members. Our features include discussion forums, blog authoring tools, blog groups, chat rooms, and a private messaging system.
The DisaboomLive Community features have not changed. That's coming up, though, in Phase 3 of our upgrade. But that's a few months away!
Now, of course there are still some bugs and tweaks that have to be made. If you have any problems using Community features, please submit the information to Disaboom Customer Service via e-mail at LeaveFeedback@Disaboom.com.
