I really appreciate your thoughts and your responses on this, perf. The point of making abortion illegal and all the grief that brings is right on, in my opinion. I also know women who have chosen to have a baby and give it up for adoption and everyone of them feels their decision was right.

I don't know anyone who feels good about an abortion.

We really need education, we need to wake up people's hearts to respect life and we need to make it easier for people to adopt these children, too. There are all these people running around spending ungodly amounts of money on fertility treatments. . . . . and then there are the unwanted babies . . . . are we missing something here?

I wont go so far as to say anyone feels "good" about an abortion, but being a woman in her young 20's, I definitley see a lot of my peers becoming "desensitized" to it. It's normal for them to get "rid" of their "problem" instead of accepting the consequences of their actions. It's simple: DON'T HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX! That is the number one reason why women have an abortion because they themselves and/or their partner either didn't use a contraceptive at all or they used it incorrectly. And majority of abortions are because the child is "unwanted". I get so upset over the number of abortions because I know they are because of careless choices almost 90% of the time. And that's no exaggeration of the figures.
