 SPRING WILL BE HERE SOON AND I LOVE GOING TO THE PARKS . HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TOLD NO THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED ON A RIDE AT A AMUSEMENT PARK  ? I AWAYS WANTED TO GO ON ONE OF THE WATER RIDES AND I WAS TOLD NO . I DO UNDERSTAND IT IS FOR MY SAFETY YET I WANTED TO GO . THEY SEE THE CHAIR AND THEY PANIC ! THE TWO PLACES I DID REAL WELL IN A CHAIR WAS HERSHEY PARK AND DISNEY ! FORGET SIX FLAGS THAT WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME .... HAVE YOU  EVER BEEN TOLD NO ?

 No, but I don't usually go to amusement parks, though we are going to Disney World again in April where I rent a scooter. Gotta love it...while I don't get to the front of ALL the lines, I do for a lot of them, or I get to use a special entrance. It's quite nice. I got to go right to the front of Splash Mountain...this is the result:

 I've been to Disneyland, Disneyworld, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags Over Georgia, Hersheyland Park, and Universal Studios Hollywood.  I have never been told that I was not allowed to ride as a result of being disabled.  If I had been, I would have raised one hell of a fuss!  I love roller coasters so much, and as long as I think I can handle the ride safely, I think I should be allowed to ride.  I realize that they are afraid of liability, but anything that could happen to a disabled person could just as easily happen to an AB person.

thats funny T for hesrhey { one of my favorite places on earth  } would not let me on any of the water rides and they claimed it was due to the pressure it puts on the spine !! hope you don't mind me calling you T lol i gave you a nickname without even asking   ooooooops  . hmmm maybe they see me as a old lady  lol  well i am  !!!

 No problem with the nickname, Rainey!  In fact, when talking to friends online, they usually just refer to me as T.

I have never run into this problem. 6 Flags, Disney, King's Island- they all were very eager & friendly ushering us to the front of the line EVEN when I explained that I do not ride myself.

They allowed my family to the front of the lines so that I would not have to wait so long by myself while they were in line! It was so very kind of them. CBR
