    When I had polio 55 years ago they told my parents that I would never walk again too.  But guess what?  I am almost 60 years old now and walking with a left leg brace.  Yes, my right leg is getting weaker and yes I may not be able to walk next year but I have had a good 55 years.   Don't ever let ANYONE tell you what you will or will not do.  Keep the faith.    Bev.
