These photoshopped examples show one possible future for the smart car movement. Could a sexy, streamlined design a la Corvette or Lamborghini convince even die-hard muscle car fans to go smart? This artist thinks so...

Take this:

Original smart car

Make it into...

A Smorvette:

Smart Car Corvette custom

The Smaudi A3 AWD:

Smart Car Audi custom

A Smamborghini:

Smart Car Lamborghini custom

The Smorche:

Smart Car Porsche custom

Even better, a Smorche Targa:

Smart Car Porsche 2 custom

And a Smerrari!

Smart Car Ferrari custom

Now I want to see a "SmeLorean". 88 miles per hour!

(these tweaks are so realistic, even I was fooled in my bronchitis-codine induced drug haze)

The synchronicity of a NASCAR pit-stop can seem alarming; a mad choreography of helmets and flame-retardant
