Adding Photos to Your Posts - Part 1

Welcome to Blogging 101, a series on the basics of blogging. Today's topic is: how to add photos to your Disaboom blog posts. This topic is broken into two parts:

1. Uploading your photos
2. Inserting your photo into your post

If you already have photos uploaded, then skip to Inserting Your Photo.

Part 1: Uploading Your Photo

Step 1: Once you have logged into your Disaboom, click on My Disaboom in the upper right corner.

Step 2: Click on Manage My Photos in the left column.

Step 3: Click on Upload a Photo. (At the time of writing the post, once clicking on Upload a Photo, you may need to scroll down the page to see the dialog box for uploading your photo. It depends upon which internet browser you are using.)

Step 4: Click on Upload Photo and a small box will pop up for you to select the location of your photo.

Step 5: Type a title for your photo in the Friendly Name/Description box.

Step 6: Click Browse to find the photo on your computer.

Step 7: Click Upload. (It may take a few moments to upload the photo from your computer to Disaboom.)

Step 8: Type two or three keywords related to your photo in the Tags box. Separate keywords or phrases with a semi-colon.

Step 9: If you wish, describe your photo in the Description box.

Step 10: Click Save. You're done! Give yourself a pat on the back!
