The last time I did a photoblog of sleeping animals, it was because I hadn't slept well.  This time, it's because March is Sleep Awareness Month.

Last time, the emphasis was on animals sleeping in piles.  This time, the theme is "Position is everything in life."

Case in point, this baby gorilla.  What a sleeping spot he's found.

If you don't have a mom to cling to, or hands to cling with, you might dig your own bed anyway, like this monk seal has done.

Or, if you're soft and fluffy, you can use yourself as a pillow, like this fox has done.

Alternately, you can just find a buddy to sleep on.

And the winners in the "Synchronized Sleeping" category are... these lions!

It always feels good to find something just big enough to stretch out in.  Kind of like a comfy chair.  Sometimes, though, you have to wonder "how is that even comfortable?"

Who needs a pillow or a bed when you're this cute?

Koalas and other tree-climbers can just hang on anywhere to sleep.  Imagine being able to eat your bed instead of making it.

And don't forget: sleeping is extra cute if you're a baby.

I think baby squirrels are cute.  I just hope this one doesn't grow up to be a tomato thief like my local ones.

Sometimes, you just have to lie down wherever you can and make the best of your position.

This is not a fox. It is an Asiatic Wild Dog.

Want more animals?  There's plenty of them in my camouflage post, but you'll have to search for them.
