The title says it all.

1. I'm not so sure about this...

Kitten with milk on his mouth looks at the bottle

This little guy comes from mitch2742 on Flickr and reminds me of the little orange kittens my cousin and I rescued last spring.  I freely admit that there are more cat photos in this post, but I'll spread them out to prevent overload.

2.  Little wriggly puppy

Pug puppy drinking from a bottle

De'Nick'Niece's pug puppies are so tiny.

3. At the Watering Hole

A cheetah taking a drink from a pool of water

Baby animals are cute, but sometimes the grown-ups are just breathtaking.  Fish918 labels this as a leopard, but it's definitely a cheetah.

4. A Tall Order

A giraffe spreads out to take a drink

I love giraffes.  I love how tall they are.  I love their ears and eyes and horns and knees and tongues.  And I love how they drink.  Law_kevin picked a great angle for this shot.

5. Thirsty Like The Wolf

Rescued wolf-dog puppy drinking from a bottle

This wolf-dog hybrid puppy is named Sabine, and she was rescued by the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary.

6. Sophisti-cat-ed

Fluffy cat with a blue paper cup in his mouth

That's one talented cat. Kudos to Ack Ook

7. Little Stretch, Long Neck

A duck stretching to take a drink from a puddle

Hc_07 took this picture, and I think it looks just ducky.  (You think that pun's bad?  What would I do if you threw something at me?)

8. A Lineup

Zebras in the water, all in a row

These zebras are from Namibia, and the photo comes from happy.apple

9. I'd use the next fountain over...

Two pigeons in a water fountain

These pigeons (and others like them) are a good part of the reason I carry a water bottle when I'm out and about. PhotoMarkR took this picture.

10. Tongue!

A squirrel licking water droplets from a window

This squirrel is named Simon.  Seizethedave seized a great moment.  I didn't know squirrels' tongues were so big.

11. Who Are Those Other Ducklings?

Two yellow ducklings staring at their reflections

I love ducklings.  Especially before they grow up to be ducks.  Tunnelblick seems to like ducklings too.

12. Here a llama, there a llama, and another thirsty llama...

Llama drinking from pool of water

Check out the head of hair on this guy!  This one comes from Jessie Reeder on Flickr.

13. How does the Baby Elephant Walk go again?

A baby elephant drinking water

It figures.  When I was a kid and tried to drink with my nose, I got scolded.  (I think baby elephants kind of look like kiwifruit with legs, ears and noses.)  (Source: Picture Taker 2)

14. My cat does this too!

This cat has stuck his face in a glass of water.

Now I think of it, I've never met a domestic cat who doesn't at least attempt this.  Tryphon4's cat is no exception.

15. I could quote the Monty Python/Holy Grail subtitles here, but I won't.

A mother and baby moose drink

Matt Carman has these labeled as "elk," but from what I've read, that's more of a linguistic thing than a misidentification.  They're moose.

16. Long climb for a drink.

Amazing the kind of things one sees in nature.  Photo credit: Ahmed Rabea

17. It's a mob, I tell you.

A whole bunch of Canadian geese mob around a water dish

Angelgt is braver than I am.  Geese hate me.

18. Little drink for a little cub

Check out the size of the paws on that lion cub!  Photo credit: djania

19. Where's the mist?

A gorilla drinking water from his hand

I love everything about this shot.  The photo's by scottbowling and it is just amazing.

20. Sink Drink

A ferret drinking from a running faucet

J.reed's ferret seems to enjoy running water.  I enjoy the cute little ferret tongue.  It all works out in the end.
