Over the weekend I crocheted myself a pair of fingerless gloves (my hands get cold at work, but I do still need to be able to type), and over the last couple days I made a hat to match.
Evidently, not everybody who wields a crochet hook or knitting needles is quite as pragmatic. This post is dedicated to those wonderful people.
1. Quick, knit some food for it.
I'm not sure if this is meant as an educational tool, but even if it isn't, I'm in awe that somebody thought to do this.

Yes, that's a knitted digestive system. The creator's website has close-up photos and body part labels. (Seriously, look at the length of that small intestine. That's dedication, right there.) Also note she even included the appendix.
2. At least we know the seats are soft...

Well, the sensible thing to do when you can't afford something is to make it yourself, if you can. I wonder what kind of mileage it gets? Not only did the woman in the picture make the car, she welded the internal frame herself.
3. AAAAAAAAAAH!
I know a person who put a toy horse's head in a Lego bed once. Doesn't hold a candle to this.

Many of the other patterns and crafts on the originating site are not safe for work or young children, but the "Mr. Edless" pattern is worksafe and free. And I can't stop staring.
4. ...I'm not sure I want that staring at me.

Yes, that is an ostomy bag (or at least the cover for one). Yes, it's staring at you. The project's creator made it for a friend. Looks kind of fun, actually. I love the multicolored irises.
5. Knitted Elvis Wig

WHYYYYYYYY?
