About Me

15 years ago at the age of 27 I suffered a Hemorrhagic stroke which affected the left side of my body. A year after the stroke I gained legal custody of my daughter who was then almost five years old. In 2006 I met a super woman who has had such a positive influence on my life. I also received my Bachelor's degree in sociology and obtained a job as a Supports Coordinator at Three Rivers Center for Independent Living in Pittsburgh, PA. In the Spring of 2007 Kala graduated from high school and is now attending a local community college. My girlfriend, courtney and I are getting married this October starting yet another chapter in my life. Obviously this is a short synopsis of me. The last 15 1/2 years didn't haven without mistakes and bumps and bruises. It has been a journey of mental and physical pain as well as personal discovery.
