About Me
I live in Utah and am a writer of fiction. I write suspense/thrillers and romance. I enjoy drawing portraits when my vision allows it.
My goodness, I don't really know what to say. I normally don't talk about my issues, but I see that it is acceptable here so people can get to know me. So here goes: I suffer from PTSD as well as arthritis, a degenerative brain disease, diabetes, and severe back pain. My left eye is almost blind, but my right eye is fine. I worked until 1999 and then had to go on disability. It was really difficult for me to stop doing all the things I enjoyed. That first couple of years were really the pitts. I hated being in bed all the time and having others do things for me. I was used to doing for others and did not make a very good patient. But I finally learned how to function and then life got much better. I am finally in a wheelchair accessible apartment, so I can function in my home. Woo Hoo.
I took up writing a few years ago, and attended a writing school to improve my skills. Now I write every day. I enjoy it very much. I am also a portrait artist.
