About Me

I'm a writer for Disaboom, a licensed physical therapist, journal writing instructor, and professional-level yoga instructor. I've managed to combine all my loves--writing, yoga, healing, outdoor sports--into my career. I write mostly about holistic health, yoga, disabilities, spirituality, and seniors and have two books out: Alpine Achievement: A Chronicle of the United States Disabled Ski Team, which includes the remarkable stories of Team members, a history of disabled skiing, and extensive resources; and Journey to Health: Writing Your Way to Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Well-being. Very soon my next two books will be available: Real Yoga for Real People: 10 Ancient Secrets to Make Any Yoga Practice Your Own, with Mark Whitwell, and Rosa Blooms, my first children's book (which is very exciting for me). Drop me a line if there's a subject you'd like to see covered on Disaboom that's not up yet that would tap my expertise. When not writing or teaching, I love to ski, hike, camp, read, dance, cook, and simply be in the moment. www.lbcreative.com
