I had undiagnosed migraines for about 3 years. Ive been seeing a doctor for them for about 5 years. Are you under medical care for them? I take precribed meds for them. to help me sleep them off. Otherwise i could have them for weeks contintuasly. The only thing i can suggest is a long very deep sleep to break the cycle.

I am sorry to hear that , I never had one in my life but my daughter gets them to the point of puking !  I read if you cut open a lime and rub it on your forehead it takes it away , theres somthing in the lime .. My daughter tried it and said it does mot take it compelety away but it does help a whole lot ! It's cheap enough to try .

People may not remember exactly what you did , or what you said ~ but ~ they will always remember how you made them feel .

Hi Ashley~I don't know of a quick way to get rid of a migraine. I have meds that I take when I feel one coming on. What has your GP said about having migraines everyday? There may be something else going on that is causing the migraines. Usually wheh I feel a migraine coming on, I lay down and put a cool wash cloth over my eyes, take my pill and fall asleep.

I used to get migranes frequently (multiple times a month) especially when weather fronts were coming thru or nearby.  I sometimes got them from over exhurtion (sp?), peanuts, bright lights, strong smells, unknown reasons.....  The migrane meds I took (and it was alot of them) tended to make me feel really weird and freaked out...like my arms and legs were going to fall off.  I always had to sleep after I took them because of that freaked out feeling and I usually woke up with the headache "in the background" and had to "walk on eggshells" to avoid things that I knew were triggers.  I would battle them for weeks at a time, going in and out of the background....  I took Imitrex one (and only one) time and I had the worse 4 day headache I have ever had.

A neuro gave me a prescrip for Migquin that I took as soon as I felt one coming on and then an hour (or 2...I don't remember) later if I could still feel the headache.  It did help me and I had no side effects from it.   I got this prescrip after a dental injury that left me in horrific pain that I take ALOT of drugs for.  I'm not sure if they played any part in the migrane front.  If you try it, post back again.  I'd like to know if it helped others.

I do also take Tylenol Sinus now if I think I might be getting one or anytime before I am going out in the heat (I live in the HOT south).  It can't be regular tylenol.  I told my husband once that if it didn't have "Sinus" on the package it wasn't going to fix his headache.  He came to agree!  I sometimes take a dose (2) and then if I'm not better within a couple hours, I take another 1/2 or full dose...not advocating that anyone take it different than directed..just conveying what I do.

NEVER allow a dentist to use formaldehyde in a root canal. Even if you've gone to them for years, ASK and SAY NO. Serious and life threatening injuries are random. Problems can occur months or years downstream of the root canal and you never put two and two together. I wonder how many cases of jaw cancer are from this stuff. What was used on me also had lead and mercury in it....permanently sealed within my tooth and nerve canal until I had the tooth extracted. Don't walk in my shoes.
