Hello, my name is Paul Davies and I am the founder of the first and only samba school for the disabled in the world famous Rio de Janeiro Carnival. There are over 25 million disabled people in Brazil and one of the most popular events is Carnival. Up until now, all disabled people were not allowed to participate! We have created the opportunity for anyone interested in parading to come out with us and enjoy the chance to samba and have fun! This year we took 1,500 disabled people and their families and loved ones to the famous avenue and our samba song was written by a blind member of the school. We also have a yearly programme of workshops for the disabled with the idea of providing better interaction with society and the chance for future employment within the multi-million industry that is Carnival. We would love to make contact with anyone interested in our project! Please have a look on our Youtube link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYfZprlavmk And enjoy! Thanks for your time
