Right now, I am as a Deacon, sitting in on the Confirmation Class @ my Meeting House before Worship. The "Lesson" this morning is all about the "Annual Congregational Meeting". Unlike Catholicism, we are a "bottom up" organized Christian group, not "top down", where a "Pope" "tells us what to do" & "what to think". We believe in "free will".
It is good, that these young people are learning about what it takes to "operate" this place for our congregation to meet & to do the work of God, here, & out in the world.
