    Danmeek, I assumed the customer was male because I've never heard a woman called a poofter. But I'm not an Aussie. Is the insult gender-neutral?

    Not fluent in Aussie -whazza poofter? Prolly not complimentary, bur just how insulting is it? Cosmopolitan sounds like a gooey umbrella drink for ladies, but why put a lady down for ordering one?

    There are many places in teh Keys where that is the common name for those drinks too. The more PC name is Boat Drinks but the locals never have to be that polite in some bars.

    Hi As a gay man who has been fighting discrimination for many years, to find that on a receipt in the 21st century is offensive. What if the customer was actually gay, should he still have tipped the bartender because it was in 'good humour'? If the receipt had said 'retard drink' would it still be funny? Probably not and it wouldn't make me laugh. I know I'm being heavy, but you are obviously doing what you can to fight the negative stereotypes about people with a disability. Please don't add to my people's pain. In good cheer. Brendan
