10 Strangest Mutts (or "Designer Dogs") Currently Waiting for Adoption -- Part 2

Who needs a $2,000.00 "designer dog" when, for an adoption fee and some love, you can have the most unusual dog on the block? Of last month's Top 10 Strangest Mutts, three have been adopted, and seven are still listed as available. This month, I've collected another ten really odd mixed-breed dogs available for adoption at shelters around the country. Got room for one more, but want a mix nobody else will have? 10. Patiences the Boxer/Shar Pei Mix

Patiences has perfected the art of "puppy dog eyes." Can't you just picture her under the kitchen table, with her wrinkly Shar Pei face, begging for a piece of steak? Patiences survived a serious skin, eye, and ear infection, as well as a rough life on the streets of New Mexico. Now she's waiting for adoption in Clovis, NM. 9. Sprocket the Yorkshire Terrier/Chinese Crested Dog Mix

Looking for a pocket-sized buddy to go with you to punk rock concerts and the skate park? Sprocket already has the mohawk, and according to the rescue caring for Sprocket, he's got the unstoppable attitude, too. 8. Berry the Sussex Spaniel/Keeshond Mix

This is a Berry cool dog, not just because she's pretty funny-looking, but also because a Sussex Spaniel named Stump won Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show last night!  If you'd like a little part-Sussex champion of your own, Berry would be happy to oblige. 7. Amos the Irish Wolfhound/Bedlington Terrier Mix

Irish Wolfhound and Bedlington Terrier? How on Earth? One is the size of a small pony, and the other looks exactly like a little lamb. I guess the only thing they have in common is they both resemble farm animals! Amos, on the other hand, is all dog, and he's in Albemarle, NC looking for a new home. 6. Dakota the American Staffordshire Terrier/Clumber Spaniel Mix

Smile! Dakota will be happy to show you how. She's actually more than just a Staffie/Clumber mix, but her full bloodline wouldn't fit in the headline. After taking a DNA test to determine her breed, Dakota turned out to be a mix of American Staffordshire Terrier, Boxer, Bulldog, Cairn Terrier, Clumber Spaniel and Doberman Pinscher! 3. Giant Lyle the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen/Bearded Collie Mix

Giant Lyle is part PBGV (even breed enthusiasts don't say the full name every time!) and part Bearded Collie, so does that make him a PBGVBC? 1. Daisy the Welsh Corgi/German Shepherd Dog Mix

And the strangest mixed breed waiting for adoption is.... Daisy! Just look at those knobby knees and that huge grin. I think she looks like a Belgian Tervuren sawed off at the knees.
