Tuesday…
I could have called today the battle of the
bureaucracies. First off, I started
having weird dreams about Book Expo America which is coming up next
week. Then, they called me and said
there was some sort of problem with my paperwork. I spent about three hours getting that
straightened out which it all supposedly is now. Then, I spent about another hour in various
email communication with the Book Expo America associate people. Then I wrote for a bit and talked on
Facebook. Then, I wrote an email and
made another phone call regarding money I was owed. Now, I'm just blogging and trying to watch a
dinosaur show at once as I ponder why the gaming website I work on to raise
money for ADAPT isn't crediting me. I'm
trying to decide if I have enough energy to pursue that with them. You see my allergies are making me
tired.
Thursday…
Not that I will have it for very long as is always the case
with me, but I got my disability bonus payment from the Obama
administration. I may dislike the man right
now, but I'm not going to refuse his money which means, I suppose, that he
can't be all that evil. He just needs to
get over all this power hungry bullshit (I'm not sure I can say that word on
this website, but I'll try for investigative purposes if nothing else) and get
back to his Chicago
community organizer roots. Watching
what happened to him kind of made me glad I never won any of the offices I ran
for.
Friday…
Made transit arrangements and concluded that most people in Ulster County
are stupid. I’ve never heard people say, “What?” to me so much. I guess I was having a bad talking day. But, happily, I got everything printed and
packed for Book Expo. I’m so ready for
this event. All I need now is bus
tickets.
Saturday…
I went out to lunch with Robyn, I hope you’ll all join me on Ezihippo; it’s
a paid social networking site
where you get paid to blog, post events, chat, and have groups. I have already started a group for disabled people
and hope you all can join me.
I’m sad to report that my friend who I asked to go to my
15-year high school reunion can’t go, as she has a class that weekend. But she said she’d like to go out another
time. Yay me, progress on the romance front!
I also brought a grown up purse that’s perfect for book
