Very true. Delightful to see in print. One rule should apply, though. STRAY CATS SHALL BE NEUTERED!

LOL. My apartment complex is overrun with stray cats. We used to feed them occasionally, but they kept demanding more and more (as cats do), and we just couldn't feed them any more. We also couldn't keep them because we are allergic, and our complex has a strict 'no pet' policy. We have called the local animal shelter about them, but they have yet to come pick them up.

This made me smile. Kitties are wonderful. One issue, though - kitties should not be given milk! Cats are lactose intolerant. KMR is okay for unweaned kittens, but not cow's milk. When my sister and I were little we used to sometimes give our cats milk, like people do in cartoons, and they ALWAYS wound up having diarrhea. Usually on one of our beds.

my mother's cat died at 22, had a small saucer of milk every morn. He chased the dogs. He preferred wild bird for lunch. He showed up for dinner and bedtime and sometimes when there was company as snacks were to be found. He broke all the rules.

as I was telling a friend of mine just the other day: anyone who has graciously accepted a cat in to thar respective lives and home ... knows well enough that they have let in one of the most charming, flatly indifferent, partially psychotic creatures ever devised to separate human from tuna fish, birds and yes even save thar owners from being over run with mice & rats truely cats R living proof of ethier the devil or god's mischievous nature of course it sounds better if I could include the pix
