Every day, I receive articles and websites from Google.  Here's what has popped up recently:

Over on Health News, Nicki's View shares her thoughts on the Presidential candidates and their views on Disability Rights:

The Presidential Candidates' Differing Stances on Disability Rights

Kathi Wolfe shared her opinion, saying that neither candidate is spending enough time discussing disability issues:

Campaigns Need to Address Disability Issues

And of course, if you want more details on the campaigns, visit Disabled Politico's blog here on Disaboom.

Over at Disability Blog Carnival hosted by Disability Studies, they're talking about:  Falling.  The next carnival will be held over at a Day in Washington on October 9th.

Did you know that next week is Deaf Awareness Week?  My oldest son will be competing at the Deaf Academic Bowl that week.

Kudos to Cornell University for striving to make changes for students with disabilities:  Making Cornell Accessible to Everyone.

And guess what, next month is Disability Awareness Month!  Let's take the month of October to blog each day-- tell everyone what life is like and what you'd like to see changed.  Together, we can make a difference.
