If you're a parent of a child who is deaf or hard of hearing, you may want to participate in this survey developed by Oticon, a hearing aid manufacturer.  Oticon wants to hear from parents and find out what is needed after a diagnosis of hearing loss to provide information and support to families.  Here's a chance to make an impact on a company and affect positive changes:

Oticon is also looking to award people who inspire:

Do you know a person with hearing loss who is a role model for others?

Nominate someone you know and admire for the Oticon Focus on People Awards - they could win a $1000 prize and $1000 for their favorite cause.

Take a few minutes to recognize someone who is showing the world that hearing loss does not limit a person's ability to live a full and productive life.

Since 1996, the Oticon Focus on People Awards have recognized and rewarded people with hearing loss who defy negative perceptions that hearing loss limits a person's ability to make a difference.  We invite you to tell us about someone with hearing loss that you know whose achievements and contributions make them a role model for all.
