The waterfall

Hi my name is mike I'm new to the group, I have just finished my first painting the waterfall. I say my first because this is my own work not a paint by number as where my first two attemps at painting. They where ok but I just didn't get the same satisfaction. I would be glad of some feed back as I am new to painting and if I could I would like to look at selling my work to pay for this new hobby. If you have done this please let me know how you got on.

Liked your waterfall, good use of color, is this a waterfall you've seen, been to or out of your head. I think it's great, seems to me you've got talent, try putting some of your stuff in coffee houses around where you live.

Hi Mike,your interpretation is very inspiring.Painting is a passion,and as long as you have a passion you will be extremely successful.If you have any festivals this summer do not hesitate to show your work, it is wonderful.

Mike, I love your painting. I cant believe that you have never painted before. Your use of light and shadow as well as color is exceptional. I would paint,paint, paint and take you pieces anywhere you think you can display and sell. I painted for years and if you find the right venue, you will sell your peices. Keep it up and enjoy.
