Ashley's parents have finally come forward to talk to the media.

There is just so much that is wrong with this that has been hashed and rehashed over and over that I wouldn't know where to start.

But I think I'd trade a month of my life if I could permanently erase the word "Pillow Angel" from the screaming mess that used to be my brain.

You have to wonder about a person who would even conceive of such a phrase. Honestly, that is simply horrifying. Glad to see you blogging again.

ughh...cash in 30 days for me too..The whole egotistical notion that it's THEIR treatment (because it should really have THEIR first names not hers)...is ridiculous....it's sterilization. That's like saying you invented euthenasia or murder. Missed your blogs too.

"Pillow Angel": it's horrible, it makes me cry... no further comment on this.

I have no child but I nursed my mother for months befor she died (cancer). I had to cary her in her bed, in her wheelchair aso... After the third surgery, she have weight only 90 pounds: after one week I thought my bake will kill me.

I have read: "Doctors described her mental capacity as that of a 6-month-old. She is able neither to talk, nor to walk and she is fed through a tube and wears diapers".

I can unserstand her parents: they want to care for her, so I wanted to be there for my Mom, but if she had be heavier I wouldn't be able to manage it. I did it seven months: what would it be for several years? I really don't know what I would do. I don't know.
